De Tuin van 2020 – Concept development (NL)

The covid crisis has made our world a lot smaller, but at the same time we connected with each other more than before. De Tuin van 2020 is the embodiment intimacy in rural times. The idea for small scale performances started in the garden of Typhoon, but literally organizing it in his own garden? That wasn’t such a great idea.

Like Beth in the Queens Gambit, Lisanne quickly anticipated and started working with Tribe (Vrienden van Amstel Live), added several artists like Chef Special, Nick & Simon, Paul de Leeuw, Tino Martin, Rolf Sanchez, Snelle, Douwe Bob, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Diggy Dex, 3JS and Lil Kleine to the list and let the seeds of their ideas grow into something much bigger. An unique experience of 100 visitors every show, doing it 3 times per day in July. Later one special beach edition was organized on Texel where world DJ’s like Sam Feldt, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano performed.
